The note list is packed, but the main impression looks easier to read than it first appears. This is a woody, smoky leather scent with warm spice, aromatic lift and a sweet resinous base.

The opening brings the freshest part of the composition. Citrus notes like orange, lemon, mandarin and bergamot suggest a sharp first hit, while pink pepper, cardamom, ginger, coriander and saffron add heat and movement. Lavender helps stop it from feeling too dense too quickly. Even with that lively start, this does not look like a fresh fragrance in the usual sense. The top seems to set up contrast before the scent moves into deeper territory.

That deeper territory arrives in the heart. Leather and incense look like the main pillars, with violet adding a slightly soft, powdery tint rather than turning the fragrance floral. Cashmeran likely adds a smooth, fuzzy warmth, while orange blossom and jasmine round the edges. Brown sugar, plum and pineapple suggest a controlled sweetness in the middle, enough to soften the smoke and leather without taking the fragrance into gourmand territory.

The base is where Absolute appears to settle into its real character. Guaiac wood, sandalwood, patchouli, labdanum, benzoin, amber, musk and balsamic notes point to a dense, warm dry-down with plenty of staying power. Oud is present, but it does not look like the loudest feature. This seems more like an oud-accented woody amber than a barnyard or medicinal oud scent. If the structure behaves as expected, the late stage should feel resinous, smoky, slightly sweet and firmly grounded.

Performance looks like one of the stronger selling points. The available votes suggest long-lasting wear, with projection ranging from moderate to very strong. That is a small sample, so it should be treated carefully, but the note structure also supports the idea of substantial wear. This is unlikely to behave like a quiet office fragrance. It looks better suited to evenings, cooler weather, and situations where a richer scent profile makes sense.

Despite the unisex positioning, the current gender-lean votes tilt male. That does not mean it cannot work on anyone, but it does suggest the leather, smoke, spice and woods are more prominent than the softer floral or fruity details. For the right wearer, that balance could be the appeal. If you like fragrance with shadow, warmth and a polished edge, Absolute looks promising. If you mainly wear crisp citrus, sheer musk or airy florals, this is more likely to feel heavy and worth sampling first.
