The opening is likely where most people decide whether this is for them. Cannabis paired with generic green notes usually creates an herbal, sharp, slightly earthy effect rather than a fresh citrus style. Here, that greenness is not backed by anything sparkling or airy, so the top probably feels immediately shadowed. If you enjoy fragrances that smell moody, dense and a little unconventional from the start, that may be the appeal. If you prefer a cleaner opening, Abu Dhabi may feel challenging early on.

As it settles, the heart looks richer and more textured. Resins and woodsy notes should give it a sticky, warm core, while coffee adds bitterness and tobacco brings a dry, brown tone. This does not read like a sweet coffee scent or a pipe-tobacco comfort fragrance. It looks more austere than cozy. The coffee note is likely there to darken the composition and give it grit, not to soften it. That makes Abu Dhabi more interesting for people who want something aromatic and smoky, but less appealing for anyone expecting a smooth gourmand twist.

The base is where the fragrance probably finds its identity most clearly. Oud and incense, supported by amber, smoke and balsamic facets in the accord profile, point toward a lingering dry-down with depth and a slightly ceremonial feel. It is likely to come across woody, smoky and resinous rather than plush. That should suit evening wear, cooler weather and tastes that lean toward incense, dark woods and atmospheric blends. It looks less suited to heat, casual daytime use or situations where you want something easy and broadly pleasant.

What stands out most is the way the accord structure balances green sharpness with smoky warmth. Amber leads, but green, woody and smoky facets are all strong, which suggests the fragrance never becomes a simple sweet amber. Instead, it probably stays angular, herbal and dark through much of the wear. That is the kind of profile that can feel distinctive in a collection, especially if you already own fresher woods or smoother ouds and want something rougher around the edges.

The main caution is simple: this does not look like a safe blind buy. There is very little reliable wear feedback available, and the note pyramid itself signals a niche-leaning taste profile. Cannabis, incense, tobacco, coffee and oud can be compelling together, but they can also feel too dry, too smoky or too unusual depending on what you normally wear. Abu Dhabi makes the most sense as a sample for someone who already knows they enjoy resinous green woods and wants a darker spin on that idea.
