Flowerhead

Flowerhead is primarily a green, white floral fragrance. It centers on a heavy, realistic dose of tuberose and jasmine sambac, accented by green notes and a hint of tart cranberry. It feels like walking into a florist shop filled with freshly cut blooms, rather than a soft or powdery floral.

Given its strong sillage, it is risky for a tight office. One or two sprays might be acceptable in a large, ventilated space during spring, but the potent tuberose can easily overwhelm coworkers. It is better suited for outdoor events, weddings, or open-air weekend activities where its projection can naturally diffuse.

This is a long-lasting fragrance. Most users report it remains detectable on skin for 8 to 10 hours, and it often stays even longer on clothing. Because of this high longevity, you do not need to over-apply; a light mist is enough to provide coverage for an entire day.

If you are new to fragrance, sample it first. Its boldness is polarizing because of the green notes and raw tuberose intensity. It is not a gentle, subtle starter scent, but rather an assertive, expressive perfume for someone who specifically wants to smell like a bouquet of real flowers.

It performs best in spring and early summer. The green notes and white florals thrive in external heat, which helps the fragrance bloom and project. In deep winter, the sharp, verdant quality might feel too cold or disconnected, making it less satisfying than it is during a warm, sunny spring day.

While marketed as unisex, it leans heavily feminine. The dominance of jasmine sambac and tuberose gives it a classic floral structure often associated with feminine perfumery. However, the green notes and ambergris base offer a bit of bite that some men might enjoy if they appreciate bold, statement-making white florals.

After the initial blast of citrus and green stems, it settles into a more grounded, musky floral scent. The suede note in the base provides a smooth, soft edge to the otherwise sharp flowers, while the ambergris keeps the white floral accord from feeling too soapy or dry on the skin.

Absolutely not. Because of the intense tuberose and the polarizing green accords, this is not a safe blind buy. What one person calls a beautiful, fresh bouquet, another might describe as sharp or synthetic. Testing on your own skin for a full day is essential before considering a bottle.

While both are centered on tuberose, they are quite different. Carnal Flower is generally considered more complex and realistic in its vegetal nature, whereas Flowerhead feels more like a green, soapy, high-voltage floral bomb. Flowerhead lacks the softer, coconut-like facets found in some other famous tuberose perfumes.

Applying it to clothing will extend the longevity significantly. If you want the jasmine and rose petals to linger through the next day, spraying a light mist on your blouse or scarf works well. Just be aware that it will be much harder to wash out than a lighter, less potent scent.
