Gaia is built around contrast. The opening pairs raspberry and cherry with ginger and cinnamon, so the first impression looks sweet, warm and bright at the same time. It is a fruit-led start, but not in a light or sparkling way. The amber and spice underneath already suggest a heavier style.

As it develops, the composition seems to soften into florals and powder. Rose, lily of the valley and violet give the middle a smoother, more rounded feel, while patchouli stops it from becoming too delicate. This part of the scent is probably where Gaia feels most balanced, because the fruity sweetness is still present, but the floral heart gives it shape and texture.

The dry-down is where the fragrance seems to make its real point. Oud, ambergris, musk, amberwood, vanilla and amber create a warm, coated finish with more weight than the opening suggests. Based on the note pyramid and accord profile, the oud does not look like a raw, smoky centerpiece. It seems more likely to act as a dark foundation under the sweet amber body of the scent.

That structure makes Gaia feel more like a modern fruity amber with oud support than a traditional oud fragrance. The strongest accords point to amber, sweetness, fruit and warm spice first, with oud sitting slightly behind them. For buyers, that matters. If you want a sharply woody or dry Middle Eastern style oud, Gaia may feel too polished and sweet. If you want a richer unisex scent that blends fruit, florals and oud into something smoother, it makes more sense.

Performance looks promising, though the evidence is limited. The available votes lean toward strong sillage, and longevity ranges from moderate to long-lasting, with one very strong wear report. That suggests a fragrance that can feel present in the first hours and then stay warm and musky on fabric or skin. It does not read like a subtle office scent.

In terms of use, Gaia looks best for evenings, cooler weather and people who enjoy sweetness with depth. The rose, violet and powdery aspects may pull it a touch softer, while the amber and oud keep it grounded enough for broad unisex wear. It is probably not the easiest blind buy because the mix of cherry, spice, powder and oud can be quite specific.

For the right wearer, though, that is also the appeal. Gaia seems aimed at someone who wants a dressed-up, slightly dramatic scent with fruity warmth on top and a darker amber-oud base underneath. If that profile sounds appealing, it is worth sampling. If you prefer fresher, drier or more transparent fragrances, this one may feel too full and sweet.
