The opening should be the easiest part of the fragrance to wear. Lemon and bergamot usually bring sparkle, lift, and a clean first impression. Here, that citrus top looks important because it sets up the rest of the composition instead of throwing you straight into woods and resin. If you enjoy fragrances that feel fresh in the first few minutes but still promise more depth later, this structure makes sense.

As Malak develops, the heart turns floral with ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose. That combination suggests a rounded, slightly creamy middle rather than a sharp or soapy one.
