There is no sharp alcohol hit or green stem bitterness here. Instead, the Isparta rose pops off warm skin with a plush, syrupy weight that sets a comforting tone within seconds of application.

As the bright fruity sweetness simmers down after twenty minutes, the heart notes take over the stage. Indonesian patchouli oil introduces a light earthy grounding, while cashmeran and sandalwood smooth out the floral edges. The rose remains clearly identifiable, yet it loses its sugary bite and gains a soft, slightly powdery texture. The transition feels natural, moving gracefully from a bright dessert scent into a grounded woody floral.

On skin, the dry-down reveals a resinous base composed of tonka bean, amber, and soft musk. The ambery notes warm up gradually, creating a comforting aura that hugs the skin. The cashmeran adds a tactile quality, reminiscent of wearing a thick cashmere sweater on a crisp autumn evening. While many gourmand roses turn synthetic or cloying after a few hours, Odéon remains smooth and velvety throughout its entire lifecycle.

Performance is solid without ever feeling oppressive or overwhelming. You can reliably expect seven to nine hours of wear on skin, with the first two hours projecting easily at arm's length.
