The powdery sweetness and dense floral-musky body can feel heavy in warm daytime conditions, while autumn, spring evenings and winter wear make more sense. It also leans more formal than casual. It is not impossible to wear during the day, but it usually feels better suited to someone who likes fragrance to be present and styled, not casual and fresh.

As a taste profile, Opal sits close to the world of classic powder florals rather than contemporary clean musks. That makes it appealing for a specific audience, especially anyone drawn to cosmetic powder, rose, heliotrope and a strong musky base. For everyone else, this is a sample-first fragrance. It is distinctive, but it is also quite opinionated in how it wears.
