Overrun smells like a mix of raw leather and dry wood. The opening hits with a sharp pepper burst, but it quickly moves into a smoky oud and cedar heart. It feels earthy and masculine, making it a solid choice if you enjoy rugged, scent-heavy profiles.

The opening is a quick, fiery blast of pink pepper that grabs your attention instantly. As it dries down, that heat fades into a much more stable leather and oud foundation. The transition takes about thirty minutes, leaving you with a lingering, woody trail that stays on skin for hours.

I would avoid wearing Overrun in a small or crowded office. It projects quite strongly and the oud and leather notes can become overwhelming in tight, indoor spaces. It works far better for outdoor events or evening occasions where you want a scent that commands a bit of attention.

Overrun thrives in cold weather. The combination of patchouli, vetiver, and heavy oud accords needs low temperatures to really bloom. If you wear it in high heat, the leather might turn cloying or overly aggressive. Save this for crisp autumn evenings or deep winter outings when the cold cuts the intensity.

It projects strongly. For the first two hours, expect it to reach well beyond arm's length. It is not a subtle skin scent. If you are looking for something that fills a room during a night out, this leather-heavy composition is certainly capable of that kind of reach.

Only blind buy if you already love heavy, unapologetic leather and oud fragrances. It lacks the mass-appeal sweetness found in many modern designer releases. If you prefer light, fresh, or aquatic scents, this will likely be far too intense and earthy for your personal taste.

On my skin, it lasts eight to ten hours easily. The base notes of patchouli and vetiver are particularly persistent. Even at the end of a long night out, I can still detect a faint, woody remnant of the cedar on my clothes or pulse points.

While it is marketed as a male fragrance, anyone who enjoys dry, leathery, and oud-forward scents could pull this off. It lacks the floral or sweet components usually found in feminine perfumery, so it leans very traditional. You have to be comfortable with a bold, woody aesthetic to wear it.

It is too polarizing and intense for most people to use as a daily signature scent. It feels more like a specialized tool for specific moods or formal, cold-weather occasions. If your signature style is strictly minimalist or fresh, this will feel like a jarring departure from your norm.

Like many modern releases at this price point, the opening pepper notes have a sharp, somewhat synthetic edge. However, the mid and base notes settle into a more natural-feeling woody depth. The leather note is distinct but does not aim for an ultra-realistic, photorealistic quality.
