The opening should feel lively and brisk. Grapefruit, bergamot, lemon and mandarin suggest a sharp, sparkling start, while green notes keep it from going flat or syrupy. Very early on, the spice mix starts to show through. Cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon bring heat and aromatic lift, so the freshness is not airy for long. It likely moves quite quickly from citrus brightness into something more grounded and masculine.

The heart is where Rafi becomes more distinctive. Pineapple and plum add a fruity tone, but this does not read like a juicy tropical fragrance in the modern designer sense. Amber smooths the transition and adds warmth, while leather adds firmness without needing to dominate. In wear, Rafi looks better suited to someone who wants more character than a simple fresh citrus fragrance. The accord balance suggests something that can feel crisp at first, then woody, spicy and a little fruity as time passes. That makes it more interesting than a one-note fresh scent, but also a little more taste-specific. If you mainly wear ultra-clean musks, blue fragrances or easy sweet ambers, this may feel more old-school in temperament.

It also seems better matched to mild weather, evenings, or smart casual settings than to extreme heat or very relaxed daytime use. The citrus opening gives it flexibility, but the moss, spice and leather pull it toward a more composed style. Rafi is best approached as a citrus-spicy woody chypre for men who want freshness with backbone. It offers variety across the wear, and the note pyramid suggests more development than many straightforward fresh scents.
