Sardis is dominated by a powerful white floral accord. The opening hit of tuberose and jasmine sambac provides a creamy, heady quality that persists through the heart. This richness is grounded by a base of amber and vanilla, which adds a sweet, resinous warmth that prevents the florals from becoming too sharp or screechy on the skin.

The opening is immediate and loud, focusing on the narcotic punch of tuberose and green myrtle. As the fragrance settles, the rose and ylang ylang emerge, softening the edges. After four hours, the dry-down becomes much quieter, leaving a skin-hugging trail of vanilla and musk that feels significantly more intimate than the initial spray.

On average skin, Sardis lasts between six and eight hours. It performs best in mild, temperate climates during the spring or fall. If you are wearing it in extreme heat, the longevity may drop to around four or five hours as the musk and amber become less stable against the skin's natural oils.

Because of the heavy tuberose and jasmine notes, Sardis is quite projecting and might be too intense for small, shared office spaces. It is better suited for outdoor social gatherings, dinners, or evening events where you want your scent to be noticed from a few feet away without overwhelming those in immediate proximity.

Sardis thrives in the transitional weather of spring and fall. It can work in winter, though you might find the florals struggle to push through the cold air.

Sardis is a true unisex fragrance. While tuberose often leans traditionally feminine in vintage perfumery, the inclusion of woody amber and musk grounds the composition. Anyone who enjoys bold, floral-forward scents regardless of their gender presentation will likely find this comfortable to wear for an evening out or a special occasion.

The sillage is moderate to strong for the first two hours, projecting about an arm's length. It leaves a distinct scent trail when you walk through a room. By the middle of the day, it draws closer to the body, becoming a more personal scent experience that is still detectable when you move.

Given the intensity of the tuberose and jasmine sambac, it is safer to sample Sardis first. Floral-heavy scents are inherently subjective, and your personal skin chemistry may emphasize the animalic side of the jasmine more than you might expect. If they enjoy vanilla paired with complex florals, then yes. However, if they prefer gourmand or simple, linear vanilla fragrances, Sardis might be too complex for their taste. High humidity can cause the amber and vanilla base to become quite syrupy and cloying. If you live in a tropical climate, you may find the fragrance becomes too heavy after only an hour of wear. It is much better suited for dry heat or cool, indoor environments where the air conditioning is running.
