If you are expecting a smooth pastry gourmand from the first spray, it may feel jarring.

As it settles, the fragrance becomes easier to read. Reviews point to a sweeter rose and oud shape in the heart and dry-down, with incense, amber and balsamic warmth rounding out the structure. The note list supports that evolution well. Rose, labdanum, olibanum, cedar, guaiac wood and oud give the perfume a dense oriental-woody profile, while bergamot, juniper and artemisia help explain the brisk, herbal-spicy top. It is not especially airy. Even when the sweetness comes through, the composition still feels textured, resinous and firmly built.

One of the main buying questions here is whether Scrumptious delivers a convincing Sweetie Aoud-style experience. Based on the reviews provided, that comparison is fair but not unanimous. Some wearers who own both say the dry-down is very close and that this is one of Dua's better efforts in that lane. Others say it misses the bakery nuance and leans more linear, louder and more incense-heavy. That difference matters. If the pastry side is the whole point for you, this may not fully scratch that itch.

Performance looks like one of its strengths. The vote pattern leans long lasting with strong sillage, and the review language supports that. That means restraint with sprays is probably wise, especially indoors. It also explains why the fragrance seems to work better in cooler weather. The unisex positioning makes sense. The rose is not delicate, the oud is not overly animalic, and the patchouli-spice core keeps it balanced between masculine and feminine codes. It will likely suit wearers who already enjoy resinous rose ouds, Middle Eastern-inspired woody ambers, and fragrances with presence. It is less suited to someone who wants a clean office scent, an easy everyday freshie, or a true dessert perfume.

What stands out most is that Scrumptious has a clear personality. It is woody, spicy, sweet in places, and unapologetically strong. The trade-off is that it can smell synthetic, medicinal or overly loud depending on skin and expectations. For the right wearer, that intensity is part of the charm. For the wrong one, it will feel like too much too quickly.
