In wear, the first impression is likely warm, resinous, and woody. The oud seems positioned less as an aggressive statement and more as part of a broader desert-like atmosphere, supported by driftwood and the leathery warmth of labdanum. That makes sense with the brand's imagery around sun, amber, and old stone. Instead of a polished mainstream amber, Shali appears to aim for something earthier and more ruin-like, with rougher texture and a slightly weathered feel.

Performance data points to solid wear. Shali usually comes across as long lasting, with moderate to strong projection. That fits the material profile, since oud, labdanum, amber, and benzoin tend to hold well. It may feel most natural in winter and on cooler evenings, where the warmth and resins can open properly without becoming too dense. In high heat, the same structure could feel richer and more enclosed.

This is not the scent to choose if you want sparkle, obvious sweetness, or a clean fresh profile. Shali seems better suited to someone who likes amber, woods, moss, and resins with a slightly rugged edge. It also looks like a fragrance worth sampling before buying, because the balance of oud, labdanum, and moss can be rewarding for the right wearer but too dry or too atmospheric for someone expecting a softer vanilla amber.
