The initial damp forest greenery gradually softens over the first thirty minutes. As the top fades, velvety violet, sweet pea, and cosmetic powder step forward, lending a gentle retro sweetness. Hové originally cataloged Spanish Moss for women, largely due to its soft violet petals and nostalgic cosmetic powder. However, the prominent oak moss and cedar base give it a balanced, botanical backbone that men who appreciate classic green chypres can wear comfortably and with total confidence.

While both fragrances come from Hové's historic French Quarter boutique, Fascinator is significantly heavier, darker, and driven by an intense musk accord paired with oak moss. Spanish Moss is much lighter, sweeter, and more accessible, relying on delicate violet, sweet pea, and airy powder rather than animalic musk.
