If you are sensitive to patchouli, or you dislike the bubblegum side of tuberose and jasmine, you should test it on skin and give it time. This is not a one-spray, one-note lotus soliflore for everyone, even though a few people do describe it as very lotus-focused once it settles.

In terms of when it fits, this fragrance seems flexible across seasons because it has two faces. The cool aquatic floral opening can feel refreshing in spring and summer, especially in air conditioning, while the warmer, musky, sometimes spicy direction can make sense in cooler weather and at night. If you like the idea of a lotus floral that can move from clean and dewy to softer and more earthy, White Lotus is worth a sample. If you want a guaranteed airy, minimalist aquatic, or a guaranteed huge white floral bouquet, it may not match what you expect.
