Sapna by Sasva opens with a syrupy fruit cocktail feel, mango, plum and peach with a noticeable boozy liqueur note, then turns darker and warmer. As it wears, tobacco and coconut add a sweet, textured richness, with a soft powdery floral edge. The dry-down leans amber, honeyed resin and leathered woods. Zayed 2018 opens with a burst of crisp mandarin orange and bright bergamot, quickly laced with dusty red saffron. As the top notes quiet down, Turkish rose and sweet violet bloom over a soft bed of hedione. The scent eventually settles into a rich base of sandalwood, earthy patchouli, vetiver, and warm amber. While the official pyramid skips oud, the interplay of spicy saffron, cypriol earthiness, and dry woods gives off a distinct woody rose aura on warm skin. It wears best during cool fall evenings and formal winter gatherings, offering a quiet luxury feel with strong projection. Show less
