Royal Copenhagen Viking brings an invigorating blast of crisp mountain air, opening with zesty mandarin orange, sharp black pepper, warm nutmeg, and cool cardamom. As the brisk opening settles, a distinctly green heart emerges, led by rich balsam fir, crushed juniper berries, clean lavender, and a subtle drop of sweet pineapple. The dry-down rests on an earthy base of cedar, smooth sandalwood, oakmoss, and soft musk that lingers close to the skin. It captures the rugged charm of late-nineties aromatic fougeres without feeling stuffy or overly heavy. Viking shines brightest during daytime wear in spring and crisp autumn mornings, offering a fresh, outdoor woodiness that works effortlessly for casual weekends, brisk outdoor walks, and relaxed office days.
