African Rooibos by Chris Collins smells like a freshly brewed pot of South African red bush tea enjoyed beside an open cedar window. The first spray releases a lively flash of bergamot paired with crackling black pepper and bruised cardamom pods. Within fifteen minutes, the brisk spice gives way to an authentic red rooibos tea note, smoothed by the earthy, powdery touch of orris root. The base settles into dry cedarwood, sweet tonka bean, and the herbal nuance of immortelle. It stays calm. Three sprays last all afternoon without choking out a conference room. This easygoing woody spice profile shines across crisp spring mornings and mild autumn afternoons without turning sweet or cloying.
