Durra Ambre opens with a sharp contrast between crisp aquatic water notes and dense, resinous olibanum. Bright grapefruit, ambrette, and pink pepper fizz off the skin during the first ten minutes before a heavy floral heart takes over. Jasmine sambac, tea rose, and honey mix with smooth caramel and dark leather in the mid phase. The base eventually settles into a thick layer of Ambroxan, cashmeran, patchouli, and golden amber. It feels heavy, complex, and unapologetically bold. This scent performs best in crisp autumn and winter air, where cold temperatures keep its sweet resinous weight from turning cloying during formal evening wear.
