Angel Schlesser Homme delivers a distinctive take on the fresh aromatic genre, built around crisp bergamot, dry Virginia cedar, and an unusual steamed rice note. Created in 2001 by Thierry Wasser before his tenure at Guerlain, the composition opens with brisk citrus and immediately introduces a starchy, clean texture through cardamom and ginger. As it settles, earthy vetiver and green fir needle join soft sandalwood and clean musk, creating the sensation of fresh laundry drying near an herb garden. It is understated, arid, and remarkably refreshing in warm weather without relying on typical aquatic sweetness. Show less
