The Spirit of Dubai Oud opens with a sharp burst of bitter lime, pungent saffron, and prickly black pepper before dropping straight into dense Indian agarwood. The wood here smells raw and medicinal at first, heavily saturated with dark leather, smoky incense, and dry cypriol oil. As the initial sharpness burns off, sweet pineapple and damask rose soften the bitter edges without turning the composition sugary. Warm amber, bitter almond, and earthy patchouli emerge in the heart to give the woody accord a thick, resinous base. On cold winter evenings or during formal outdoor gatherings, a single spray projects across several feet and clings tenaciously to wool coats and heavy fabrics. It stays dark, spicy, and noticeably animalic throughout its long life on skin. Show less

Sospiro Prima Donna kicks off with a punchy splash of dark glazed cherry, fresh summer fruits, and a quick swirl of velvety rose petals. Right behind that sweet fruitiness sits a firm, dry leather that feels like sliding into the seats of a brand new sports car. It is a bold, sweet, and smoky mix that grabs your attention right away without turning syrupy. As the day rolls on, the scent smooths out into a creamy, comforting layer of steamed milk and cocoa, backed by warm amber, clean musk, and dry cedar wood. It has serious backbone, lasting over twelve hours on skin with hefty projection. It is an assertive cold weather statement piece that shines best during evening dinners, dates, and cool fall or winter nights. Show less
