Michel Almairac created Cabaret by Grès in 2002 as an unconventional chypre floral for women. The fragrance opens with dry rose, crisp peony, and soft lily-of-the-valley before shifting into a cooler heart of smoky incense, powdery iris, and violet. As the scent settles, a woody base of patchouli, cedar-tinted sandalwood, oleander, and amber grounds the floral accords.
