John Stephen built this composition around an earthy core of olibanum incense and dry violet leaf. It projects aggressively from skin during damp autumn evenings and cold winter nights, throwing a dark, herbal cloud that lasts past twelve hours. The scent feels industrial and gothic rather than sweet or accommodating. Thick musk and smoky agarwood anchor the base, giving the herbal top notes a heavy, resinous weight that lingers on coats for days. Show less
