Aromas de Salazar 1882 opens with a sharp burst of Sicilian bergamot and bitter artemisia before settling into a herbal heart of clary sage, rosemary, and lavender. Composed as an homage to the origins of the fougère genre, this fragrance relies heavily on botanical ingredients rather than modern aquatic synthetics. The dry down introduces dense oakmoss, coumarin, and earthy Haitian vetiver, given a slightly medicinal lift by camphor and styrax. A subtle undertone of tobacco blossom and tonka bean softens the green edges without turning sugary.
