Cuir Celeste Par Mathieu Cesar by Ex Nihilo reimagines traditional leather by stripping away heavy smoke in favor of luminous air, soft suede, and clean greenery. Created by perfumer Quentin Bisch alongside French photographer Mathieu Cesar, the scent opens with crisp violet leaf, bitter galbanum, and cracked black pepper before settling into a soothing heart of steeped tea, velvety osmanthus, and fuzzy ambrette seed. The base stays remarkably light, pairing supple leather and clean white musk with spicy akigalawood and earthy cypriol. It smells less like an old saddle shop and more like an expensive bomber jacket worn on a brisk spring morning.
