Slava Zaitsev Maroussia hits the air with a brisk, soapy rush of aldehydes, crisp bergamot, and sweet orange blossom that immediately brings to mind frosty morning air. As the initial fizzy burst settles, a dense core of spicy carnation, creamy ylang-ylang, and buttery tuberose unfolds across the skin, giving the fragrance a rich, floral warmth. The base turns deep and cozy with amber, smooth sandalwood, and a noticeable touch of animalic civet wrapped in sweet vanilla. This distinct blend of frosty cleanliness and smoldering amber heat makes Maroussia ideal for crisp winter evenings, holiday dinners, and chilly outdoor walks where freezing temperatures allow its heavier balsamic notes to bloom without feeling overwhelming. Hot by Bill Blass is a warm, honeyed floral chypre with a clear early 90s attitude. Wearers often describe spiced honey, tuberose, cinnamon, amber, oakmoss, patchouli and a soft incense edge, with the best moments coming once the heart settles into a warm floral base. It suits cooler weather, vintage perfume tastes, and anyone who likes sweet spice without modern candy sweetness. Show less

Refan Intense Gold Women 112 wears like a vintage-leaning floral with a bright, almost sparkling aldehydic lift, then a creamy white-floral heart (tuberose and jasmine tones) that can read a little sharp. Underneath, it settles into clean woods, musks, amber and a faint animalic edge. One reviewer compares it to a modernised Climat idea, closer in mood to Iris Poudre, but more. Show less
