Lacoste Touch of Pink opens with a burst of bright blood orange, juicy peach, and a light dusting of spicy cardamom. Domitille Michalon Bertier constructed this 2004 floral fruity composition around a core of crisp citrus that quickly softens into powdery violet leaf, subtle jasmine, and earthy carrot seeds. As the bright top notes settle on skin, a warm base of creamy vanilla, soft sandalwood, and clean white musk emerges. The overall impression is energetic and breezy, dominated by tangy citrus and sweet powder. It shines brightest during warm spring mornings and casual summer afternoons in casual cotton outfits. Ormonde Woman opens with a sharp flash of crushed green grass, cardamom, and coriander seed before deepening into its strange centerpiece, black hemlock absolute. Geza Schoen blended this coniferous wood with soft jasmine and violet, creating a shadowy, forest floor atmosphere that feels cool and dry. As it settles, vetiver, cedar, and warm amber pull the composition down into a quiet, resinous skin scent. It shines in crisp autumn rain or cool spring evenings when damp air brings out the pine needles and spicy wood. While named for women, its earthy, unsweet backbone wears comfortably on anyone looking for a botanical alternative to standard amber fragrances. Show less
