Wallachian Perfumes MIRIFICUS opens with an aggressive burst of roasted coffee, tart blackcurrant, and spicy saffron before settling into a dense floral heart of dark rose and powder-dusted iris. Perfumer Arturetto Landi constructed this 2024 unisex scent around a heavy base of raw oud, smoky incense, Nagarmotha, and salty ambergris, softened slightly by sweet vanilla and brown sugar. It projects with noticeable force during cold autumn nights and formal winter occasions, cutting easily through frigid outdoor air. While the top notes flash bright fruit and espresso, the long dry down turns deeply balsamic, earthy, and leathery. Show less
