Talisman by Balenciaga opens with a dense pour of rum and dried fruits, immediately signaling a departure from standard clean florality. The initial warmth feels thick and sticky, cutting through cool autumn air with a syrupy weight. As the scent settles, ylang-ylang and carnation introduce a spicy, classic floral texture that keeps the sweetness from feeling juvenile. On the skin, the dry down leans heavily on beeswax, sandalwood, and patchouli, creating a dry woody base that lingers for hours. This fragrance suits collectors who appreciate bold nineties structures, making it a stellar choice for cold winter evenings when you want a rich, enveloping presence. It remains a distinct vintage bottle that is best sampled before chasing down rare bottles. Show less

Haibah by The Spirit of Dubai leads with heavy Indian agarwood, smoky leather, and a prickle of saffron. Crisp apple, pear, and bergamot attempt to lift the opening, but dark resins quickly take over the skin. Beneath the fruit, intense earthiness settles into wet moss, black truffle, and velvet May rose. Dry cedarwood, patchouli, and dense sandalwood anchor the dry down for hours without softening. It smells dark, woody, and intensely rich. Wear this during cold winter evenings, formal black-tie gatherings, or crisp autumn nights when you need a scent that cuts straight through freezing air. Summer 1872 opens bright and busy, with lime, grapefruit, bergamot and petitgrain pushed by a noticeable fresh spicy edge. Pineapple and peach soften the citrus, while lavender and green notes keep it crisp rather than sugary. As it settles, the scent turns more aromatic and woody, with musk, amber and cedar giving it a cleaner, slightly warmer base. It suits daytime wear. Show less

Very Fast For Men by VS opens with a burst of sweet strawberry, pineapple, and tart green apple backed by bitter calamus. As the loud fruit syrup settles on skin, warm cardamom and jasmine step forward before giving way to an earthy base of cedarwood, patchouli, and amber. The scent leans heavy into early-2000s party culture, delivering an energetic sweetness that works well during cool autumn nights and weekend outings with friends. While the fruit cocktail stays front and center for hours, dry woods prevent the blend from collapsing into pure sugar. Show less
