Historiae Hameau de la Reine captures the vivid atmosphere of an overgrown vegetable garden on a cool morning. From the initial spray, you are greeted by the unmistakable aroma of snapped tomato stems, crushed black currant leaf, and bitter green fig leaf. It feels brisk, wet, and deeply botanical, avoiding sugary sweetness entirely. As the sharp green opening settles, quiet floral touches of peony, geranium, and delicate rose enter, softening the edges without turning powdery. The dry-down introduces dry vetiver and clean white woods with a hint of honey, keeping the scent grounded. It is a wonderfully refreshing choice for casual spring weekends and warm summer afternoons. Show less
