Torero by Boadicea the Victorious opens with a burst of pink grapefruit, tart red berries, and juicy pear that crackles on skin like chilled sparkling wine. Despite its matador-inspired name, Christian Provenzano steered this 2021 release away from heavy leather. Instead, he built a crisp, effervescent floral structure. The fragrance centers on a dew-drenched red rose dusted with almond-like heliotrope and soft cashmeran, resting over a steady foundation of cedarwood, earthy cypriol, and clean amber. It projects with crisp authority in warm spring breezes, summer garden parties, and celebratory evening dinners.
