Kashaya by Kenzo opens with a heavy splash of stewed peach, apricot nectar, and tart mandarin orange. Created by Sophia Grojsman in 1993, this floriental quickly settles into a thick floral heart where ylang-ylang, tuberose, and narcissus take control. The dry-down relies on resinous benzoin, warm sandalwood, and dark vanilla to lock the fruitiness to skin. It wears best during chilly autumn evenings when cold air cuts through its syrupy sweetness.
