Kingmaker by Chris Collins hits the skin with brute force. The opening does not apologize. You get an unvarnished wallop of natural Assam oud backed by the prickly heat of pimento berry and cool crushed cardamom. Italian bergamot flashes briefly. Then, sticky gurjan balsam pulls the entire composition downward into deep resinous soil while quiet lavender attempts to soften the edges. Skin warmth changes things. After an hour, dark Indonesian patchouli and creamy sandalwood create a smoky, masculine base that clings tenaciously to skin and wool coats. This is pure evening fuel. Show less
