PMP Perfumes Mayr Plettenberg Concrete Flower opens with a sudden burst of sharp lime, bitter bergamot, and crushed black pepper. The tart citrus flash clears quickly, leaving herbal thyme and warm cardamom clinging to cold asphalt notes. As it settles onto skin, dirty ginger and dusty iris take over the mid notes, preventing the white floral lily and jasmine from ever turning sweet or pretty. It smells like crushed garden stems lying on wet city pavement after a heavy spring rainstorm. During cool April mornings, the resinous styrax and dry cedar in the base pull forward, giving it a smoky, grounded finish. It is an unorthodox scent designed for those who appreciate artistic, earthy green compositions rather than crowd-pleasing designer freshies. A full bottle makes sense for niche collectors, while casual wearers should start with a small sample.
