Chopard Madness is not a gentle floral. It starts with an aggressive, prickly shock of pink pepper and tart pink litchi that clears your sinuses immediately. Give it ten minutes. Once the sharp alcohol and peppery sting ease off, a deep crimson rose emerges alongside tropical hibiscus. It smells dry, fiery, and slightly sour rather than sugary or powdery. The base settles into aromatic palisander rosewood and dry pencil-shaving cedar planks, softened only faintly by clean cotton flower. Wear it in freezing winter air. The cold keeps the sharp spices crisp and prevents the rich woods from feeling heavy. On bare skin, expect eight to ten hours of bold woody rose projection that refuses to fade quietly. Show less
