G Gigli by Romeo Gigli, created by perfumer Sophie Labbé in 1994, is a dry green floral fragrance built around a prominent tarragon note. The opening hits with crushed stems, sour bergamot, hyacinth, and an unexpected liquorice-tinged herbal bite that sets it apart from typical sweet fruity florals. As the sharp greenery relaxes, cyclamen, jasmine, and powdery orris root emerge over a base of oakmoss, sandalwood, and soft musk. It wears best during cool spring mornings or quiet autumn afternoons when you want a crisp, vintage herbal profile with traditional Italian flair. Show less

It feels distinctly vintage, targeting enthusiasts of retro animalic chypres rather than modern sweet floral wearers. Show less
