Marjan Red by Armaf opens with a sharp burst of bergamot and a dry dustiness of cardamom. Within twenty minutes, the initial spiciness shifts into an unexpected direction. A cold, synthetic red apple note emerges alongside a faint, soapy jasmine. This fruitiness is not sweet or juicy, but rather crisp and slightly medicinal. As it settles onto the skin, a heavy base of amber and tonka bean takes over, giving the dry-down a resinous, warm woodiness.
