L'Erbolario Mirto strikes the nose with an aggressive wave of sharp lavender, crushed juniper berries, and bitter basil. This Italian green aromatic fragrance does not soft-pedal its herbs. As the initial citrus sparkle of bergamot recedes, raw coriander and dusty artemisia step forward, giving the heart a dry, medicinal edge rooted in old-world apothecary traditions. The base settles into earthy vetiver and dark birch tar anchored by resinous labdanum. While the official formula lists sweet strawberry and lilac, they remain invisible beneath a wall of camphoraceous greenery. It projects with noticeable force for four hours before settling into a dry, woody skin scent that lingers eight hours total. Show less
