OsmoGenes No. IV opens with a thick burst of dark cherry, ripe raspberry, and freshly grated nutmeg. The dark fruitiness quickly melds into a heavy heart of sweet bourbon vanilla and warm liquor, supported by soft yellow mimosa pollen. As the fragrance settles on skin, rich benzoin and golden amber create a dense resinous base. Tonka bean and almond-tinged heliotrope add a distinct powdery texture that lingers throughout the dry-down. Sandalwood grounds the composition with a dry woodiness, preventing the heavy sweetness from turning cloying during cold winter evenings. It remains cozy, sweet, and noticeably warm for hours.
