Rose Absolue by Yves Rocher is a rich, warm floral perfume centered around sweet, spiced rose petals. Created by master perfumer Christine Nagel in 2006 for the Secrets d Essences collection, it opens with a dusting of warm cinnamon that melts quickly into a lush heart of Turkish, Bulgarian, and Moroccan rose. Rather than smelling like a sharp, dewy garden flower, this smells like thick homemade rose jam simmering on a stove. As the scent settles on skin, a comforting base of creamy tonka bean, earthy patchouli, and Virginia cedar gives the floral sweetness a cozy, grounded backbone. It feels like wrapping yourself in a soft cashmere sweater on a brisk autumn afternoon, making it a reliable cold-weather staple for anyone who enjoys dark, full-bodied florals. Show less
