Exalted opens with a sharp burst of bitter orange, tart bergamot, and snap-crisp green tomato leaf. As the initial citrus sting quietens down on skin, a thick heart of tuberose and orange blossom takes over the room. Soft violet and powdery iris cushion the heavy white florals, adding a cool, slightly chalky texture. Spicy cloves and rose trail behind, giving the floral core a warm, prickling edge. Hours later, the scent dries down into sweet honey, cedar, and clean white musk. The green top notes lingering against the dense base keep the sweetness from turning cloying during cool autumn afternoons. Show less

Yves Saint Laurent Opium Parfum is a dense, smoky spice blend built around pungent cloves, rich resins, and dry woods. The opening hits immediately with dark plum, sharp coriander, and warm crushed cloves before softening into a velvety heart of red carnation and cinnamon. In the deep dry-down, sweet myrrh, smooth sandalwood, and unburned temple incense form a thick, enveloping scent bubble that clings to skin for over fourteen hours. It is an unapologetic cold weather staple made for freezing winter nights, formal velvet jacket evenings, and quiet fireside wear when you want an intoxicating, classic presence. Show less

Yves Saint Laurent Opium (1977) opens like a warm, crackling hearth on a freezing winter night. The first spray hits with a sharp burst of dried clove buds, fresh black pepper, and dark plum before mellowing into rich cinnamon, spicy red carnation, and creamy sandalwood. As it settles on warm skin, deep frankincense, golden amber, and smooth myrrh take over, leaving a rich, resinous trail that hangs in the air for hours. This is an unapologetic powerhouse from the golden era of spicy amber fragrances. It smells smoky, sweet, and intensely cozy, making it ideal for brisk autumn days, freezing winter nights, and dressed-up evening gatherings where you want a memorable presence. Show less
