Samar by Khayali opens with star anise and cardamom, giving it a spicy, slightly liquorice-like bite before the scent turns creamy with jasmine, orange blossom, rose and marshmallow. The dry-down is darker, with smoky birch tar, leather, amber, vanilla and tonka. It is warm, sweet, floral and leathery, better suited to cooler evenings than hot daytime wear.
