Skyline Pacific by Parfums Genty opens with an unexpected collision of sweet melon, ripe wild strawberry, and salty sea water. You smell the alcohol lift for roughly two minutes. Then, the sweetness calms down. Bitter green artemisia and orange blossom cut through the syrupy fruit, preventing the blend from feeling like high-fructose candy. On skin, the drydown turns surprisingly dry, smoky, and grounded as cedar, guaiac wood, and tonka bean take over. This is not a typical lightweight aquatic cologne.
