Hortensia by Pompeii opens with a tart flash of grapefruit and dark black currant before settling into a dense heart of violet and worn leather. Released in 2025, this unisex woody spicy fragrance plays heavy contrast between cold juniper berries and hot black pepper. As the top notes fade, cloves and earthy vetiver anchor the middle stage, keeping the leather from feeling overly synthetic. The dry down turns dry and grounded with cedarwood, raspberry, and soft musk remaining close to the skin. It suits cool autumn evenings and crisp winter air, pairing well with heavy coats or dark leather jackets. Show less
