The Solid Earth opens with a sharp burst of Petitgrain Paraguay, bringing a bitter green citrus foliage snap straight out of the bottle. Within minutes, the foliage note softens as dark patchouli oil and crushed black pepper rise from beneath. Palissander rosewood adds a muted woody warmth to the mid, keeping the spices from feeling too dry or harsh. As the scent settles, rooty vetiver and resinous amyris form a grounding base that hugs the skin for hours. It smells grounded, unpolished, and intensely botanical, like damp garden soil after autumn rainfall. Show less
