Mexx Man is a light, easy aromatic fougere built around lavender, citrus, soft woods and a touch of pineapple sweetness. It opens fresh and slightly herbal, then settles into a clean woody dry-down with oakmoss and sandalwood keeping it classic. This is the kind of scent that suits everyday wear more than statement making. It may work best in spring or mild. Show less

Dark Hollow by Forage opens with crisp green leaves and crushed fern, setting an immediate damp foliage tone. As the top notes settle, a restrained wild rose emerges alongside a bitter oakmoss core that grounds the middle phase. The dry-down relies on solid wood notes, combining oak, cedar-like conifer, and smooth sandalwood against a clean background of musk and amber. The result is an earthy chypre that smells like wet bark and shaded forest soil rather than polished barbershop soap. It projects moderately for the first two hours before pulling closer to the skin, making it a reliable pick for crisp autumn afternoons. Show less
