Absolu Aventus 2023 by Creed takes the famous smoky pineapple DNA and steeps it in dark, cozy spices. The first spray brings a sharp kick of tart grapefruit, juicy bergamot, and black currant, layered over warm nutmeg and fiery cloves. As the bright citrus settles down, a rich heart of fresh ginger, cinnamon, and subtle rose gives the scent a heavier, autumn-ready body. The base anchors the entire blend with dry vetiver, earthy patchouli, clean ambroxan, and creamy sandalwood. It feels like wearing a heavyweight black blazer instead of a crisp summer linen shirt. The scent projects with a refined, warm presence that holds strong in cold air, making it an easy favorite for crisp fall mornings and upscale evening dinners. Show less

The Godfather opens with bright citrus, pineapple and blackcurrant, then moves into a warmer heart of ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. The overall feel is a modern fruity chypre with a spicy edge rather than a heavy old-school mossy style. On skin, it usually reads crisp first, then smoother and woodier as ambroxan, oakmoss, patchouli and musk settle in. If you like fresh. Show less

Semi-Bespoke No. 10 opens with bergamot, mandarin and peach over cardamom and coriander, then settles into a soft frankincense, floral spice, and creamy woods blend. It wears smooth, powdery, and quietly luxurious rather than loud. This suits someone who enjoys warm spicy chypres with an ethereal incense thread. Several wearers find it versatile and calming, though some also find the projection too. Show less

PMP Perfumes Mayr Plettenberg Concrete Flower opens with a sudden burst of sharp lime, bitter bergamot, and crushed black pepper. The tart citrus flash clears quickly, leaving herbal thyme and warm cardamom clinging to cold asphalt notes. As it settles onto skin, dirty ginger and dusty iris take over the mid notes, preventing the white floral lily and jasmine from ever turning sweet or pretty. It smells like crushed garden stems lying on wet city pavement after a heavy spring rainstorm. During cool April mornings, the resinous styrax and dry cedar in the base pull forward, giving it a smoky, grounded finish. It is an unorthodox scent designed for those who appreciate artistic, earthy green compositions rather than crowd-pleasing designer freshies. A full bottle makes sense for niche collectors, while casual wearers should start with a small sample. Show less
