Zayed 2018 opens with a burst of crisp mandarin orange and bright bergamot, quickly laced with dusty red saffron. As the top notes quiet down, Turkish rose and sweet violet bloom over a soft bed of hedione. The scent eventually settles into a rich base of sandalwood, earthy patchouli, vetiver, and warm amber. While the official pyramid skips oud, the interplay of spicy saffron, cypriol earthiness, and dry woods gives off a distinct woody rose aura on warm skin.
