Inbar is Ayala Moriel's take on amber, but it does not read like a plush, dessert style oriental. The idea here is clearly to pull amber away from the usual syrupy softness and give it more air, herbs and grain. That concept already makes it more specific than many amber releases, and the note list supports it well.

The opening looks built around bergamot and wild oregano, which should give the fragrance its sharpest signature. Bergamot adds light and lift, while oregano can bring a dry, green, slightly camphoraceous bite that immediately separates this from smoother amber perfumes. If you like aromatic materials and Mediterranean style herbal facets, that opening is likely the part that sells the scent. If you prefer rounded sweetness from the first spray, it may feel more challenging.

Through the heart, the structure softens without losing its shape. Rose and jasmine suggest a gentle floral warmth rather than a fully lush bouquet, and clary sage keeps the composition tied to the aromatic thread from the top. Daisy or varthemia adds to the dry green character more than to any rich floral effect. On paper, this looks like a fragrance that moves from brisk herbal brightness into a floral amber core without ever becoming dense or creamy.

The base is where the classic amber idea settles in. Labdanum and benzoin provide the resinous backbone, vanilla adds a touch of sweetness, and sandalwood plus patchouli bring wood and earth. Hyrax may add a dry, slightly animalic texture rather than obvious funk. That combination suggests warmth with some roughness around the edges, which is probably the point. Inbar seems less interested in comfort for its own sake and more interested in keeping amber vivid, textured and alive.

Performance is the area where expectations should stay measured. The available wear data is very limited, but what is there points toward lighter longevity rather than a heavy, all day amber trail. That does not necessarily mean the perfume is weak in character, only that it may sit closer and fade sooner than the rich base notes might suggest. If lasting power is a priority, sampling first is the practical move.

As a buy, Inbar makes the most sense for someone who wants an amber with a herbal spine and a more natural, less polished feel. It may suit wearers who like dry resins, aromatic greenery and a touch of animalic texture. For shoppers wanting a smooth, crowd pleasing vanilla amber, this may be too angular. For those who find many ambers too sweet or too flat, it looks much more promising.
