Peru balsam, myrrh, resins, vanilla and Ceylon cinnamon suggest sweetness and spice, but the available comments describe the sweetness as wrapped in wood, smoke and dry herbs. That gives a useful clue: this is not fresh green herbal perfume. It is darker, drier and more antique in mood.
