Pasha Cartier opens with a sharp burst of lavender, bruised mint, and caraway seeds before shifting into a dense, herbal heart of coriander and rosewood. Formulated by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in 1992, this aromatic fougere carries a heavy, soapy weight that feels distinctly vintage. As the top notes fade over the first hour, dark oakmoss, earthy patchouli, and warm sandalwood take over the base, leaving a dry, mossy trail on skin. It shines in cool spring air or crisp autumn mornings when worn with a tailored jacket or clean white shirt. The caraway and anise give the opening a pungent, almost sweaty spice edge that separates it from modern aquatic colognes.
